Growing in Faith - Our Religious Education Journey
St. Paul's Parish
Religious Education classes for our community are held at St. Paul’s Parish.
Class Time: Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
The year begins with an Opening Mass in mid-September, with regular classes starting the following week.
Grade Levels
Classes begin in Grade 1 and continue through Grade 8/9.
Class Schedule
The Religious Education year includes approximately 20 classes. Classes break in December for Christmas and resume in mid-January. Winter weather cancellations are announced on the local radio stations.
Welcoming Neighbouring Parishes
Students from St. Lawrence, Mulgrave and St. Francis, St. Fracis Harbour parishes are welcome. Exceptions may also be made for families from other communities if one or both parents are originally from St. Paul’s Parish.
Wrapping-Up the Year
Our Religious Education year concludes with a Closing Mass on Palm Sunday. Regular classes end at that time, although Sacrament preparation classes may continue for a few additional weeks as needed.
We are grateful for the students, families, teachers, and volunteers who help make each year of faith formation a meaningful and rewarding experience.
Sacraments
First Communion is usually celebrated in May for students enrolled in Grade 2.
Confirmation is celebrated every second year, with the next celebration expected in 2028.

Community Gatherings & Upcoming Events
There is always something happening at St. Paul’s Parish beyond our regular Masses. From faith-based gatherings to social events and community activities, these opportunities help nurture faith, build friendships, and strengthen our parish community.

Weekly Bible Study
If you are looking to deepen your understanding of Scripture, share meaningful conversations, and enjoy fellowship with others, we would love to have you join us.
When: Every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
Please note that Bible Study has wrapped-up for the summer. We will resume in the Fall.
Monthly Holy Hour
Take a peaceful pause from the busyness of life and spend an hour in prayer, reflection, and quiet devotion before the Blessed Sacrament.
When: The first Friday of each month at 11:00 a.m.
Confession
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available each week for those seeking spiritual renewal and God's forgiveness.
When: Every Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
